Cider and the sea
Go by boat to the Basque Maritime Factory Albaola and enjoy the construction of the Nao San Juan at first hand, an exact replica of a whaling vessel that sank in the waters of Red Bay, Canada in the 16th century. Did you know that cider is closely linked to the sea? Return by boat to the port of Pasaia and dive into the culture of Basque cider at the Sagardoetxea – Basque Cider Museum, where you will learn about the secret sailors used to avoid scurvy.
